Isn't it wonderful when the intolerant preaches tolerance? Reminded me of a gay activist yesterday that was ranting on O'Reilly that the Miss USA runner-up deserved to be punished (by losing the title) on the grounds that she was not politically correct, when asked whether she thought gay marriage should be allowed in every state.
The beautiful contestant (to my surprise) stuck to her biblical beliefs that marriage is only between a man and a woman.
The judge who baited her, not only voted her out, but he has been trashing her all over his blog.
Those two individuals are the epitome of what today is sold under the banner of "tolerance." O'Reilly contended the American way is not to punish people for holding a different opinion. I agree. However, wish O'R. had inquired if, by the same token, it would have been just as fair to fire a gay person from a job because he/she supports legalizing the lifestyle.
That would have caused an outrage of biblical proportions.
