Save the whales – we'll eat them later.
I was very disheartened this week by two things I saw on television.
First, Discovery Channel is promoting a show called "Whale Wars" where some tree-huggy group is out "fighting" whalers. The commercial makes it appear as though they are ramming whaling ships, etc.
Secondly, in nearby Harrison County, the Attorney General saved a bunch of doggies. Apparently, some folks were accused of tax dodging- for not reporting the regular sale of dogs on their taxes. When the AG descended upon their puppy farm, "hundreds" of dogs were found in horrid living conditions, and had to be "rescued." One person interviewed talked about how now these animals could be beloved pets and not just commodities.
I’m not a big fan of Sally Struthers or anything, but what about the damn children?
The cost in fuel alone to harass whaling ships is enough to feed and clothe hundreds of children. If the tree huggers really wanted to change the world, they’d volunteer all their time to helping orphans- then they could brainwash those orphans to grow up and be veggie-munching, rainbow coalition libtards.
And puppies? I hate to break it to all you dipshitzus out there, but animals are indeed commodities. They’re property. They have no rights. They can’t vote.
What really irks me though is that the Attorney General of the State of Indiana is making such a big deal out of a bunch of damn dogs living in terrible conditions, but I don’t hear anything about children living in horrid conditions.
I can guarantee you there are children in the State of Indiana that desperately need help. For example, in a southern Indiana county, there was a child living with her grandmother in despicable conditions normally only seen on TV Shows like "How Clean Is YourHouse?" She had bugs crawling on her every night, didn’t get baths, and was barely being fed. The grandmother was charged with Child Neglect by the Prosecutor. But did Child Protective Services remove the child from the home? No.
Animal nuts often gasp and yell in shock and horror when they see dogs in small cages, walking on their own poop, and not getting enough food and water. Where’s their anguish about children being forced to live in even worse conditions?
Indiana’s Department of Child Services rarely removes children for neglect. I know, from cases I have personally seen. And don’t get me started on DCS’ refusal to investigate certain kinds of child neglect. Silly me for thinking that any neglect or mistreatment of a child should be investigated by one single agency.
It just burns my ass to no end that the animal nuts go so crazy because some dog isn’t getting loved enough. Meanwhile, children are beaten, starved and forced to live in conditions more suitable to the Middle Ages and PETA says nothing.
You’d think that a civilization that put a man on the moon 40 years ago could find a way to at least feed and clothe children. Instead, we piss money away on government art grants and lawyers fees for cases of the ten commandments appearing in public places.
Whales? What do whales really contribute to the world? Tons of poop? To eskimos, they contribute food and fuel. I think we need to follow this example and feed all the hungry children of the world. Feed them blubber. It keeps the eskimos going.

Save the Whales- We'll Eat Them Later!

I love dogs, but like you I am incensed at all the publicity, not to mention the time/money wasted to protect animals like whales and bugs while children, are our greatest asset, go on being deprived, neglected or abused.
Sad state of affairs.
P.S. As for eating whales, give me horse meat any day! [yuck!]
It’s not just eskimos that eat whale- sharks do too. And whale oil is used to make perfume, which normally doesn’t stink.
Are you sure you wouldn’t like some tasty whale?
Think how big the steaks would be! Cow- mammal. Whale. Mammal. Cow meat=hamburger & steak. Whale meat= ???
That would be the biggest cheeseburger, some delicious whale muscle….
