Oh my goodness, it looks to me like you are really being neglected. I think it is the way the children are raised and treated themselves. Our children show Dad as well as Mom a nice day. Now that our children are gone and moved away, we still get a call and a card from them. Since your dad lost 25 pounds I took him to Khols for a new pair of “don’t hang off your cute butt” Levis. That was after his manacure, pedicure and lunch at his favorite Mexican place. I will also figure out something for the “day”

I agree with you.

One thing to consider though is maybe we and dad’s should be thankful that at least this is ONE holiday that’s not totally over-commercialized where you’re guilt-tripped into buying things as a token of your affection.

I did see an ad for barbecue grills on sale for father’s day though…
