THOR’S DAY RANT: Why bother?

This week, I am seriously wondering why I should bother ranting any more.

Perhaps it is the eve of the anniversary of 9-11, and the terrorist attack on America that left THOUSANDS dead getting me down. Perhaps it is the approaching Eve of Barack Hussein Obama being “elected” to the Presidency, causing me to doubt.

At first, I wanted to rant this week about the pathetic excuses for teachers we have in our schools these days. And I’m not just talking about moonbats intent on brainwashing our kids. No, I’m talking about teachers like my daughter’s 4th grade teacher, who didn’t know a cell was bigger than an atom.

Yep, there we were at Open House, and the teacher was bragging about our 10 year old, and how she had asked teacher which was bigger, a cell or an atom. “I had to look it up on the internet!” the teacher laughed.

Har-de-f*&#ing-har-har. A teacher, who doesn’t know that atoms are the basic building blocks of all matter? I graduated High School in 1986, and I still remember that- without a college degree. Good lord.

Then, after reading Chairman Maobama’s speech to be delivered to students, I was thinking about a rant on how Minorities Rule. Literally.

The former (?) crack-smoker from Chicago lamented in his speech on how rough he had it growing up. How (sob!) his daddy wasn’t around. How (sob!) he had to work so hard in school.

Someone buy the man a mirror. By virtue of being a minority, he didn’t have to achieve as much. Minorities have lower testing requirments. It’s easier for minorities to get scholarships and grants. We all know this to be true. So it is a fact that minorities don’t have to work as hard as say, white children.

That got me thinking about “minority” the word, not the racial classification. It dawned on me suddenly that the minority voted B. Hussein into office. The minority of eligible voters. Can anyone tell me the last time 51% of eligible voters got off their couches and cast ballots for a single candidate?

Please, correct me if I’m wrong, but even if 70% voted for Nobama, McCain had at least a third of the votes cast. A third of 70 is 23. That leaves 46% of eligible voters casting ballots for Nobama. And 46 is less than 51 (unless you are in my daughter’s class), ergo a minority of eligible voters put Nobama in office.

And that really irks me. How many of you reading this webpage, or listening to Glenn Beck, or Rush Limbaugh, actually voted last fall? How many of you bellyaching about how you don’t want Government-Run Healthcare reform cared enough to put down the bon-bons and go vote?

America isn’t going down the toilet because of Nobama and the Left. We’re swirling around the rim because far too many Americans refused to stop the flushing when they could.

And if you lazy suckers won’t take a stand for your country, why should I spend time on this blog?

  1. Now you feel my pain. Five years of dealing with political nutroots has left me tired and burned out. I hate feeling powerless. But I hate being powerless even more. That's exactly what we are. To the elitist politicians we're nothing more than cattle. After seeing so many whacked out lefty cosmonauts singing We Are the World and chanting "Change" as the O Train pulled into the White House, I am tapped out. Maybe the politicians are right; we are cattle and as such, we deserve to be knocked in the head, slaughtered, and eaten.

The only hope I have left is Jesus coming back. It's either that or being abducted by aliens. Given the choice I'll opt for the former.

  2. Hell, Chad, even being abducted by aliens may be better. But, do you have a choice ?

I know, Trog, it's sad we live in the world as it has become. Even if the majority says no (or is it media propaganda) they will still do as they wish. After all, they do "know what's best for us" , and not we the People. I am glad for them, so smart they are.

I am who and what I am, no matter what Nobama says or does. No matter what the "other guy" says or does to me……….I am still gonna' be me. I, like you, like Chad , am carved in stone from the beginning…….not changed by the flowing breeze (which changes every ten years).

Go ahead and rant…..we will listen and share the pain. But, it sucks when the Left won't come and argue , huh? Ah, hell………..just preaching to the choir like you are.

We are not cattle………..we are real men, men of faith and values, just not of the world's values.
