If anyone is still reading MTW (a neat trick given the lack of content lately), you may be wondering: Where the hell is everyone?
Well, we're busy. Busy with real life. And we're burnt out. Burnt out on Chairman Maobama and his socialist regime.
But it is thursday, and I do likes to rant, so here I am.
Which is a neat trick, as anymore, I just don't have the time for this blogging stuff. You know the drill, you spend a day at work, and all you want to do when you get home is rest. But no, there's chores to do and kids to feed. And, in my case, now we have a dog to clean up after as well.
By 7PM, I'm normally ready to sit down at the old laptop and do some "work" as I like to tell my kids. I like to tell them that so they'll leave me the hell alone and stop running around in circles screaming and making noise. Unfortunately, the "work" excuse has worn out, and I get no peace and quiet. Worse, the eldest of my spawn now vies for use of the laptop herself.
Now, you'd think that I could just hold out until 9:30 PM, when the kids have to be asleep, then take my turn at the PC. But, no. I'm lucky if I can stay awake that long these days, what with the aforementioned dog barking during the night to be let out.
So when do I have quiet time that I can share my thoughts or otherwise write? Well, the laptop isn't waterproof, so the morning shower is out. The drive to work is quiet- once the kids are dropped off- but driving and typing is probably worse than driving and texting.
I used to have my lunch hours free for this kind of thing. But somehow even that has evaporated.
And look at this article. Lengthy. I mean, I feel like I have to go on and on just to fill space. I need to twitter. You know, rant in small spurts like a true caveman. E-grunting is what I like to think of it as.
To that end then, I may just stop this whole blogging stuff and switch to a more easily managed, time-friendly, sporadic twitter. Assuming I can figure out how to make the old smart phone send in pieces…
Thanks for all the laughs, folks. But right now I gotta go- I'm outta time.

I hear and I understand.
