Baron Hill: the wannabe pro-lifer
Baron Hill: the wannabe pro-lifer

Ya know, I almost feel sorry for politicians like Congressman Baron Hill: They want so badly to be pro-life, but they just can't connect the dots between action and rhetoric. They seem to have a real soft spot for Planned Parenthood, Roe v. Wade, and the whole, "I'm personally against abortion, but I'm glad it's legal" routine. Write that as, I personally believe abortion is wrong, but I won't lift a finger to stop it. Really? Excuse me while I go puke!

I'm continually amazed at politicians who claim to be pro-life and yet have no problem spending my money to fund abortions here and abroad. Or who claim to care about families and yet want the government to subsidize the "downsizing" of family units. Congressman Hill is no exception. No wonder he can't get pro-life certification.

If you haven't already caught on to what Hill means when he says he's all about "family values," pop on over to The Hoosierpundit and take a gander. Scott Fluhr has written a nice little expose' on the Baron Von Hill which really puts things into perspective. You'll learn all about why we call Baron's routine The Mr. Hill Show.
