It's a brave new world in politics as the morphology of political organisms evolve new appendages–case in point? The bird flipper. The accompanying video captures on camera, for the first time ever, a "living" fossil of this feature in action.
Political "scientists" of both the "intelligent design" and "naturalist" varieties are, of course, interpreting the data very differently. The former see the context, high complexity, and sudden emergence of the "gesture" as clear evidence of design, while the latter view it as the result of chance working in concert with law dominated factors.
