Oh yeah…I get it, alright, Matt. Most liberals have no idea what fair and balanced means, much less neutral and objective. For all the conservative slant of Fox, at least they give both sides of the story and that means a balanced treatment. You think NBC, CBS, or ABC would “stoop” to that kind of journalistic integrity? Of course not. For them, fair and balanced means you pimp the “news” which fits your ideological agenda. If, by some chance, you should get an attack of journalistic morality, you make damn sure you straw man those with whom you disagree do death. That’s the liberal way…and because nearly all libs are democrats…unfortunately, it’s also the donkey way.

Exactly. You don’t have to be anything except an exploiter of cultural moods and to do that you must understand both the times we live in and psyche of your base. If nothing else, Trog, Obama has been skillful in his assessment of what the pop-culture wants. He has, therefore, carefully crafted his persona to fill what is lacking in so many of these people’s lives, namely, “hope.” Sadly, it appears that the majority of these folks aren’t packing the intellectual baggage to go beyond Obambam’s ambiguous rhetoric. Or maybe it’s not an intellectual exercise at all. Instead, it could be that they are so caught up in the moment of frenzied and desperate false hope that the portion of the brain responsible for basic “forward thinking” functions (like cause and effect, for example) has been “HOPElessly” numbed. It’s sad. Certainly, there’s no humor in the craftiness of our leaders and the foolishness of those who go after them with no thought as to whether the ground will rise up to meet their next footstep. I hang my head in shame at our vacuous political dialogue and our willingness to throw ourselves headlong onto the swords of these “great” men.
