The Truth About Nationalized Health Care

This video outlines what you can expect from government run health care. This is what you voted for America: Socialized medicine coming soon to a country near you…Actually, it's coming to your country. This is what your president and his liberwock drones want to provide for you. A system without choice; a system with total government control of your health; a system of long lines, long waits, and long faces. A system where your right to medical autonomy is stripped away.

But cheer up; it's "free…" That means your taxes will be paying for it, along with government sanctioned euthanasia and abortion on demand.  So guess what? If you work for a living, you're going to pay for this…yes, even you moronic libernazis who happen to have a job.

So this one's for you. I'd like to thank all the Kool-Aid drinking moonbats and their neoconservative antiparticles, along with  their elitist lawmakers for making this possible. Oh, that we had elected divided government, then Uncle Sugar couldn't get anything done…which is exactly what America needs. After all, party majority in this country has brought us the ills of corporate bailouts, pork spending, financial institutions run amok, socialized mortgage industries, and now, socialized medicine.

Health Care Nazis: Blue Dog Dems join the fight for Obama care

Ninth District Congressional Candidate Todd Young made the following statement on the deal reached by Democrats on the House Energy and Commerce Committee on legislation to overhaul the U.S. health care system.

Paoli, IN – ‘Blue Dog’ members of the House Energy and Commerce Committee have cleared the way for national health care.  The legislation they have endorsed is terribly flawed.  I agree that we need to insure millions more Americans and make health care more affordable.  But this hurried legislation will drive costs higher, decrease choice, and turn our health care decisions over to government employees.

Americans understand that we have to get this right, and they’re paying close attention.  National polls show that people are growing increasingly concerned with Congress’ massive health care bill.  This House agreement will cost taxpayers nearly $1 trillion over a ten year period, and will penalize small businesses who are unable to pay for employee coverage.

Worse still, Speaker Nancy Pelosi and her Blue Dog allies propose to finance national health care through an ill-advised 5.4% “Job Tax,” which will be passed on to workers. The pay or play scheme will end up hurting the very low-wage workers it is supposed to help.  Job losses will follow.  During tough economic times, this punitive legislation is not the answer.

And the centerpiece of the House agreement is a new government-run insurance program that will “compete” with private insurers – at least, for as long as private insurers continue to exist in America.  Under this scheme, private insurers will discover that government plays by its own set of rules.  In the end, Americans will be left with fewer health care choices, and Washington will dictate what treatments Hoosiers are eligible to receive.

There is a better way.  We need legislation that will make health care more affordable without raising taxes.  We need inexpensive improvements without a complete overhaul.

Instead of centralizing control over health care in Washington, Congress should look for ways to give Americans more choices through private insurance while improving the overall efficiency of health care delivery.

Create a uniform tax treatment for all Americans who pay for health insurance, regardless of the size of their employer.

Market-based solutions always work better than centralized government control.  Government intervention in the private market is not the answer to health care reform.

U.N. proves that stupidity is par for the course with North Korea

After North Korean leader, Kim Jong Il announced that he would continue his nuclear weapons program, and showed as much by launching nuclear test missiles, the U.N. got together and decided to impose a tried and true strategy to…you know, get K.J.I. in line. With the connivance of the United States, they imposed sanctions on North Korea. And we all know how well sanctions have worked in the past on Looney Toons dictators, like say, for example, Saddam Hussein.

Over and over again, the U.N. imposed sanctions on Saddam for a period of ten years. Citing history, conservatives insisted that sanctions did little to sway the policies of dictators. Instead, they argued that many of the sanctions actually hurt the average Joe’s living in Iraq. You know, the very ones the accursed libs claim they care so much about.

Anyway, Hussein continued with his thuggery, intent on developing his WMD program at every level. With a decade of sanctions and empty threats under their belts, the spineless liberwocks at the U.N. kept on chanting, “We need to give diplomacy a chance.” A decade of blatant defiance did little to dampen their spirits. Doing the same thing and expecting a different result is just part of how the libs do business. In the end, it was only with brute force that we were able to get Saddam Hussein to comply with the U.N.

Fast-forward a decade and a half. A similar scenario is being played out again, this time with pinko commie Kim Jong Il. The latest drama unfolding in Asian waters between a Korean ship suspected of carrying illicit weapons and U.S. surveillance ships, underscores the functional insanity of both our administration and the U.N. The current U.N. resolution is another in the long litany of idiotic sanctions leveled at people they expect to act reasonably…’cause you know, that’s what commie dictators do. They act reasonably. They have the same set of values that liberals do: Peace, love and dope…er…uh, I mean hope. Seriously, though, liberals actually believe that nutbars like Kim Jong Il will be reasonable. That they can just impose their little arms embargo and he’ll fold like an accordion and stop acting like what he is: an insane, megalomaniac, communist dictator with psychedelic tendencies and a love of Ray-Bans.

One of the things which fired me up about this is that the AP called these sanctions “toughened.” Here’s an example of just how tough the U.N. sanctions are. Basically, North Korea is barred from shipping illicit arms to other countries- and to enforce that sanction, the U.S. and/or any other country that has knowledge of North Korea violating this resolution will board and search the Korean ships…with their consent. Yeah, you heard right. We’ll just sail right up to the ship in question and ask the captain if we can search it. In deference to our authority, the captain will comply. That is after all, what crazy/evil people do. Makes a lot of sense to me. I mean, why wouldn’t North Korea allow us to search their ships, especially if those ships are suspected of violating the U.N. resolution? Here’s how I see it going down.

U.N. Inspector: Excuse me, North Korean Ship’s Captain, but may we please inspect your ship, as we believe it may be carrying illicit weapons and thus violating our toughened arms embargo against your country?

N. Korean Ship’s Captain: No

U.N. Inspector: Uh…No???
N. Korean Ship’s Captain: No.

U.N. Inspector: Really? No???

N. Korean Ship’s Captain: You makayn fun-o-my bwoken Engwish. Did I stutter? The answer is NO! Now get the hell off of my ship you weak-assed liberal pansy!!!

U.N. Inspector: (turning to his fellow liberal pansy colleagues) I guess we just need more time to allow diplomacy to work. Ten years should be enough.
